No, really. I apparently lost 2kg over the past week.
This is not normal. People gain weight during Chinese New Year, not lose weight. But then I guess I’m one of those people who just likes western cuisine more. *is craving pasta carbonara right now*
I like some types of Chinese food (plum or lemon sauce chicken! butter-fried prawns! hokkien mee!) but the majority of Chinese cuisine appears to consist of oyster sauce and starch. And while I’m fine with dishes like steamed fish… I just like them better if they’ve got a little bit of spiciness in the taste.
Tarn Thai’s yeesang was just about the only thing I enjoyed eating over the past week.
